Here at Borderton Kennels all breeding is done for ourselves, we have specific requirements for performance homes, this includes Show, Trial, Obedience, Agility or Herding. As not all puppies fit this criteria we occasionally have stunning puppies available as family companions.

We also have older dogs available.

Show Team

As our Show team changes often (due to Show schedule, Seasons and family commitments), we have decided to have a photo gallery of our dogs that will be updated occasionally, your best change of seeing the current show team is looking at the Borderton Facebook page, there you will see all the dog performing currently as well as the well loved family companions we have re homed with our loving owners, we alway love seeing them in action.

About us

Borderton Kennels was established in 1989 with Border Collies. In 1994 we introduced the Australian Shepherd into Western Australia and are one of Australia’s most successful breeders of Border Collies and Australian Shepherds. We have also continued to import dogs and semen from the best Australian Shepherd breeders worldwide to ensure Borderton Kennels continues to produce the ultimate dog for show or family companions.

We would like to thank the many judges from around the world who have recognized the quality of Borderton bred dogs living in Australia/USA and throughout Europe.

Hayley is a licenced Group 5 Judge (Working Dog Group in Australia, Herding Group in USA, Pastoral Group in the UK).
